Building a Trustworthy Ministry That Honors God
“In a world where trust is fragile and leadership often falls short, Building a Trustworthy Ministry That Honors God Is Crucial. how can we build a ministry that not only stands the test of time but also reflects the heart of God? The answer lies not just in strategy—but in surrender.”
“In this case, moreover, it is required [as essential and demanded] of stewards that one be found faithful and trustworthy.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 AMP
At any point in time, if you lose the privilege of being trustworthy, you no longer have a ministry. As said earlier, ministry is very fragile.
The reason why people come to your church or ministry, with their wives or daughters, to sit under your ministry is because of trust, and how many of us break such trust? (Mercy).
Ministry is established on trust. People are not coming because you are handsome or beautiful. In fact, people are waiting at the door, watching closely if, peradventure, you might give them any reason to leave your church or ministry. This is the more reason why, when the Apostles were searching for assistant pastors, one of the qualities they (the assistants) must have is an honest report, Building a Trustworthy Ministry That Honors God Is Crucial.
“Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” Acts 6:3 KJV
Once again, we attest from the scriptures above that God’s first choice is godly character and moral integrity, as compared to anointing and charisma. My friends, if you live long enough and stay long enough doing the work of the ministry, you will agree with the scripture, how that godly character and moral integrity is the bedrock for lasting and productive ministry. Anointing is not enough, my friends. I, for one, have seen how a lack of moral integrity has cost me men of timber and character, men of vision and ability to bring things to fruition, therefore Building a Trustworthy Ministry That Honors God Is Crucial.
You will notice that not many people have the ability or the strength to help actualize all the dreams and visions God has placed in your heart. There are just a few people who can help you do that. Yet, if you lack godly character and moral integrity, you would lose them in a heartbeat. I am telling you from experience and observation.
what qualifies a man for ministry is not the anointing, it is not the ability to work miracles. All these requirements listed are character-based because one of the fundamental things in ministry is that we should and must be able to earn the trust of people who know us. Because ministry requires trust, therefore the code of conduct becomes integrity, and this shows that you are not fit for ministry if you have not settled the integrity matter.
Trust speaks of credibility. Don’t forget, my aim is to go beyond the facade, beyond the view we can easily see, to what stands sure, one of which is credibility.
CREDIBILITY IS THE QUALITY OF BEING BELIEVABLE OR TRUSTWORTHY. (You lose this quality when you start lying, cheating, and acting rather shady.)
This is what faithfulness means; this is what faithfulness does or produces through the person who flows in it: CREDIBILITY.
We need credible ministers.
We need trustworthy ministers.
We need reliable ministers.
This is exactly what the Apostle Paul says a minister is and should be: “be found trustworthy.”
If you are investigated, would you be found credible?
If you are spied on, would you be found credible?
If you are put on the spot, would you be found credible?
If by any means you compromise your trust, then you have affected your ministry.
THINK ABOUT IT.
