Some time ago, the lord had instructed us to take our ministry to Southern Africa, especially through our book sales and online marketing. So we got started, advertised our books via Facebook targeting South Africans, we spent a considerable sum of money running the advert, we had our hopes high and so it was, we started to reach a certain group of South Africans. However, not the ones we had hoped or envisioned for.

‎Many of those who saw the advert liked the book and were interested in what it was about, and few either called or chatted me up on WhatsApp, with the promise that they would someday purchase the book but not today. They however don’t mind if the book could be given to them for free, if not, they will appreciate prayers. This got me and my team disappointed and desperate for a change in response seeing that it was the lord himself asking us to take our ministry there. Until…..

One midnight, I couldn’t sleep, so I began to pray and pour out my mind regarding the situation on ground to God, when suddenly the holy-spirit spoke loud within my heart:

“you have acted foolishly” …. “how can a person go into a strong man’s house and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first binding the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.”

‎Immediately he said this to me, it was as though a light-bulb came on and then he (the holy spirit ) continued speaking

“When a strong man, with many weapons, guards his palace, his possessions are safe. But when one stronger than he comes to attack and overpower him, the stronger one will empty the arsenal in which he trusted. The conqueror will ransack his kingdom and distribute all the spoils of victory.”

It occurred to me that I was being opposed by a hindering spirit, I couldn’t imagine that it had not occurred to me not even once that I was dealing with a spiritual personality named ‘the strong man’. Probably because I assumed that this was online on Facebook, I wouldn’t have thought there was a strong man even on social media hindering, frustrating, and opposing all our activities to take Christ and his knowledge and power into South Africa through Facebook. This was indeed some way, I need to Contend With Him In Battle.

However, the Holy Spirit had said some things that I pondered on and I’ll like you to ponder on before I continue.

• You cannot enter into a house, community, country, society or social media space (just like that) that is well guarded by a spiritual entity.

‎• There is a spiritual entity, a hindering spirit called and known as the STRONG MAN.

‎• To eventually gain access, testimony, breakthrough, victory, establishment and so forth, you must do something, BIND THE STRONG MAN!

‎• However, there is a unique qualification in binding the demon. You must be stronger than the strong man or come in the authority of one who is stronger than him. Why?

‎• The strong man has many and different weapons, assortments of security power; in essence, his possession of a city, a nation, a community, a group of people, resources of all forms are all safe in his domain. You can’t take him for a joke

• You must be the one doing the attacking not hiding, you must always be on the offensive not the defensive.

• You must over-power him: not temporarily but permanently else, he gets up again and continues hindering, opposing and frustrating the work in your hand. You must know this demon doesn’t give up easily, he is known as the ATTEMPTER.

‎• You must empty his treasure box where he keeps the KEY to the city, nation, community, people and resources in bondage.

On and on you can go!

‎This is particularly enlightening. However, the Holy Spirit went on to show me how to BIND and overpower and plunder his possession and take away resistance and scarcity confronting and frustrating my ministry. He showed me how to bind and Contend With Him In Battle.
