Looking closely at Cain, his thought patterns and process within the context of Genesis 4:3-9, we can pick some trait that qualified him as someone born of serpent seed. Likewise, when we look closely at your childhood, are there trait that you displayed that can get us concerned about your future?

One time I was listening or probably reading one of Derek Prince’s books and he shared a very enlightened story, I think it’s also relevant to this teaching.

He said he has been conducting deliverance for one brother that was also his friend, the brother was caught up in an addition of smoking. They had prayed several times and the addition will be broken and after few weeks or months it will return in full force. This made them both very frustrated about the situation.

According to Derek Prince, the brother eventually arrived in town and they decide to meet at the Eatery. as they sat on the chair talking about the situation, Derek prince said he noticed a little demon, stuntly calling his attention to himself and recognized that this was a demon of rebellion.
