Taking Territory By Disbanding Enemy Troops
The enemy has gathered troops, but the Kingdom is advancing. This is not the season to retreat — it’s the time to start Taking Territory By Disbanding Enemy Troops, and reclaim what belongs to God’s people!”
“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” Ephesians 6:12 (AMPC) “This is no weekend war that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.”
Ephesians 6:12 (MSG)
Taking territories is no small play for the ignorant. Territories are overseen by high-tech powers with killer mandates to stop anyone who intends to take such territories. When you talk about taking territories, you mean disbanding enemy troops that are the brain box behind your inability to take cities, and mountains, possessing lands and winning the souls of men.
If you are so interested in territory taking, then you must begin to wrestle.
If indeed that nation is yours, then you must begin to contend with the powers that be in battle.
If indeed that land is yours, then you must fight a good fight.
The nature of your enemies is bloody, There is an enemy called powers
There is also an enemy called rulers of this present darkness
There is an enemy called spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly sphere.
These devils are not smiling, neither are they friendly, if you must possess the territories that have been given to you by the lord, these are personalities you must have to contend with in battle. Joshua (empowered by God) might have fought physical men may be empowered by Satan. However, you are not fighting such low-class battles, you are going to fight with devils themselves. If you lose, you stay right where you are, if you win, you possess your territory to the glory of God, Taking Territory By Disbanding Enemy Troops.
When you say, “I am taking territories” you are saying I’ll be disbanding enemy troops standing against my mandate to take territories. This is spiritual warfare for the senior boys. To disband means to cause confusion in the camp of the enemy, you need to pray prayers that confuse the mission of the invisible enemy set against you. The scripture says;
“And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros–a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra–a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it]. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:18-19AMPC
The gates of hell are always looking for opportunities to oppose and overwhelm God’s church, however, we are instructed to push back, and we must never take the defensive position but the offensive one. You can’t always wait to react only when something bad happens. In times of peace, be ready for war, Taking Territory By Disbanding Enemy Troops.
When it comes to disbanding enemy troops, you must have a discerning eye, be able to detect an abnormality, you cannot be slow or reluctant in making decisions that will secure your God-given mandate. Let me share an example to help you understand what I am trying to communicate.
Once the lord gave us a charge to take our discipleship ministry into a particular state in Nigeria, we began to pray, prepare and train the person we thought should be the one to oversee the operation. We trained this lady for over a year and in multiple times, we asked this lady (as it’s our custom to) if she is willing, interested and ready to take on this responsibility and every time she replies, her answer would be a resounding yes!. However, one day, this lady did something that displeased me, yet it was not what she did that troubled me so much, it was her attitude, the way she responded to my displeasure, to my discipline that got me so upset.
When she had left my office, I heard the lord whisper in my heart, “If you send this lady, she will ruin and destroy the work, the most painful part of it will be, that she will have no remorse about it”. This greatly disturbed me, one or two of my leaders made similar comments. However, I was too naive and compassionate to make a decision to pull her out of the mission.
This lady was eventually sent. We had paid for the necessary things to get her started, we have even laid our hands on her to bless her for the mission. Then something remarkably embarrassing happened.
