The State Of Current Affairs
“The world may be shaking—wars, confusion, moral decline—but none of it has caught God by surprise, The State Of Current Affairs. As believers, we’re not called to panic, but to perceive. In the midst of uncertainty, how do we respond with truth, hope, and unwavering faith?”
“Then Samuel took the vial of oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him and said, HAS NOT THE LORD ANOINTED YOU TO BE PRINCE OVER HIS HERITAGE ISRAEL? When you have left me today, you will meet two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of benjamin at zelzah and they will say to you the donkey sought after are found. And your father has quit caring about them and is anxious for you, asking what shall l do about my son? Then you will go on from there and you will come to the oak tabor and three men going up to Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three loaves of bread and another carrying a skin bottle of wine. They will greet you and give you two loaves of bread which you shall accept from their hands. AFTER THAT, YOU WILL COME TO THE HILL OF GOD WHERE THE GARRISON OF THE PHILLISTINES IS: and when you come to the city you will meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute and lyre before them prophesying.”
1 Samuel 10 vs 1 to 5 (AMPC)
This is a serious issue and the heat of the matter. This is a battle for the repossession of God’s hills, cities, communities, people, properties and so on, which has now been taken over by the enemy camp. This is the state of the ministries of many anointed servants of God. They have been anointed by God to lead his people into the dreams and desires he plans for them. However, the enemy has short-circuited their advancement and cornered them into a small, tiny, struggling and frustrating location, The State Of Current Affairs.
A few things are noteworthy to me:
1. Saul was anointed king over the whole of Israel, there were no boundaries to his rule in as much as it was within the jurisdiction of Israel. My question and your question should be, why then do we have an enemy troop stationed against the peaceful rulership of the newly anointed king of Israel?
2. How come the hill of God has been captured by an enemy troop violently guarding the hill of God?
The dictionary defines a garrison as a group of troops stationed In a fortress or town to defend it (either for or against that town), these troops are heavily armed with all sorts of weapons to fight, defend and win.
How then can civilians repossess such land when their enemy, your enemy comes to the conference hall with all sorts of ammunitions, bombs, grenades, guns and all sorts of artillery and you man of God come into the conference hall with diplomatic, democratic sugarcane handshakes and well polished speeches?.
This can’t get you the victory God expects you to have. If you must possess lands, take territories, and advance the work of God in your hands, you must be willing and ready to fight and take by force things, people, lands, and properties that God has put in your charge. There is no possession without contention, there is no room for sweet talking. If you are to see all that God has destined for you come to pass in your lifetime, then put on your fighting wear (armor) and take things by force!
”The Lord gave this message to me on the 12th day of the 10th month of the 10th year: ‘Son of man, turn and look towards Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. You must speak my message to warn him and all Egypt’s people. Tell them, “The Almighty Lord says this: Listen, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, I have become your enemy. YOU ARE LIKE THE GREAT MONSTER THAT LIES IN EGYPT’S STREAMS. YOU SAY,’THE NILE RIVER BELONGS TO ME!, I MADE IT FOR MYSELF.’ “But I will put hooks into your mouth and catch you. I will cause the fish in your streams to hang on your scales. I will pull you out from the streams with all those fish on you. I will leave you in the wilderness with all your fish. You will lie on the ground in the open fields. Nobody will pick you up or take care of you. I will give you to the wild animals and birds to be their food.”
Ezekiel 29:1-5 (EASY)
This is the attitude of the enemy, they are quite possessive and violently lay hold of what they think belongs to them. You cannot displace them if you intend to take it easy. Just as the Philistines took hold of the hill of God by putting in place, military power and violent aggression, so also are the enemies of your calling and ministries. If you are lazy in prayer and spiritual warfare, you will be greatly limited, restricted, hindered and frustrated that you will not see the salvation of the lord come. This guy (the devil) will not leave a stone unturned, you too must not give him rest, or else you are on your own, The State Of Current Affairs.
