But if I’m delayed in coming, you’ll already have these instructions on how to conduct the affairs of the church of the living God, his very household and the supporting pillar and firm foundation of the truth.”
1 Timothy 3:15 TPT

These factors within the local assembly are paramount to the peace, governance and growth of the ministry, without which, there will be irreconcilable differences that will stall the growth of the work within the local assembly. The Bible tells us that there is a way, the church is to conduct itself, it relationship with its members and the expectations of the society. That is what we will be discussing in this chapter part. And as usual, we would relate this to a part of the body system.

TRANSPORT SYSTEM

These are organs, tissues and cells that transport nutrients, gas, hormones and waste products throughout the body.

HOW IT RELATES TO YOUR MINISTRY

“All the believers were one in mind and heart. Selshness was not a part of their community, for they shared everything they had with one another. Some who owned houses or land sold them and brought the proceeds before the apostles to distribute to those without. Not a single person among them was needy.”
Acts 4:32, 34-35 TPT

The activities of ensuring that people do not lack care regarding their basic needs, discipline as pertaining their morality and spirituality, support when it comes to specific projects within the church, community and individuals, as well as counsel, over-sight and shepherding when it comes to the domestic life of a family, the marital union of intending couples and conflict resolution within the context of the family. These activities are what I call the TRANSPORT SYSTEM OF THE LOCAL ASSEMBLY.

In our opening text, we can see that the word of God has much to say about specific areas of life, especially when it concerns believers within the local assembly. The apostle Paul said: “You already have these instructions on how to conduct the affairs of the church of the living God, his very household and the supporting pillar and firm foundation of the truth”, Welfarism, Disciplinary C0uncil, Fund Raising , And Family Life.

What this means is that there are laid down protocols and ethics as to how, when and what should be considered as a matter, and addressed within the local assembly. One such example is been addressed in the bible text above. I’ll repeat it again

Here we see a culture and attention given to the welfare of members of the local assembly. Thereby showing us, that aside from the spirituality concern of the local church, something else that should be a concern and part of the structure and administration of the local assembly is Welfarism, Disciplinary council, Fund Raising , And Family Life.
