Ministry Built on Honor, Lived with Integrity
“Ministry Built on Honor, Lived with Integrity, In a world where titles are often exalted over character, true ministry begins with something deeper—honor. Without it, leadership crumbles and influence fades.”
Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares, ‘I did indeed say that your house and that of [Aaron] your father would walk [in priestly service] before Me forever.’ But now the Lord declares, ‘Far be it from Me- FOR THOSE WHO HONOR ME I WILL HONOR, and those who despise Me will be insignificant and contemptible.” 1 Samuel 2:30 AMP
When it comes to honor, it’s important to understand that God desires that His servants walk in honor and be honorable themselves. In fact, the robe of the priest and the office of the priest exude great honor that is supposed to make God’s servant stand out and be dignified in front of others and, in fact, angels and devils. This is definitely the interest of God.
However, there are things you do that tarnish your honor and soil your robe or dignity as God’s servant. You can’t work effectively in this work called ministry if you have lost your honor, Ministry Built on Honor, Lived with Integrity.
By the way, what is honor?
i. Honor means glory.
ii. Honor means respect.
iii. Honor means admiration.
iv. Honor enhances the reputation of God’s servant.
v. Honor means acceptance.
vi. Honor means transparency and honesty.
When you walk worthy of your calling, it brings great honor to God and to you When you walk honorably, it allows the people you have been sent to receive your ministry wholeheartedly.
When you talk honorably, you give people the opportunity to listen to you without filters.
When you know when to talk, what to say, and how to say what to say, you are talking honorably. Then, people will respect your words. When you dress honorably, people will address you with respect and glory.
When you dress decently, as suiting your calling, you will be so honored that you will be put on a dedicated seat.
When you are not greedy for money, desperate for money, or a beggar of money (tips here and there), you won’t be avoided; your presence will be greeted with a lot of comfort and honor, Ministry Built on Honor, Lived with Integrity.

In ministry, our office only means a lot when it is honored.
In ministry, our influence is only as far-reaching as our honor endures.
Ministry is based on honor and being honorable In ministry, only the honorable ever has an effective ministry.
In ministry, our prosperity is tied to honor.
In ministry, our voice is amplified due to honor.
So when the Apostle Paul says “walk worthy of your calling” he means to say, WALK HONORABLE, F UNCTION EXCELLENTLY, LEAD RIGHTEOUSLY.
In situations where God’s servants have lost their honor, Ministry becomes diffi

cult to do. Ministry almost becomes a curse instead of a blessing.

1. Honor is bestowed.
2. Honor is developed as a character trait.
