The Sin Of The Church: A Call To Repentance
“In a world where the church is called to be the light, has it fallen into darkness instead? The Sin Of The Church: A Call To Repentance uncovers the spiritual and moral challenges facing the modern church today. This thought-provoking discussion explores hypocrisy, lack of accountability, and the drift from biblical principles. With a message rooted in truth and hope, this work calls believers to repentance, unity, and a renewed commitment to God’s purpose. Discover how we can collectively rise above failure to reflect Christ’s love and righteousness in a broken world.”
“Write the following to the messenger of the congregation in Ephesus. For these are the words of the one who holds the seven stars firmly in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands: But I have this against you: YOU HAVE ABANDONED THE PASSIONATE LOVE YOU HAD FOR ME AT THE BEGINNING. Think about how far you have fallen! Repent and DO THE WORKS OF LOVE YOU DID AT FIRST. I will come to you and REMOVE YOUR LAMPSTAND FROM ITS PLACE OF INFLUENCE IF YOU DO NOT REPENT.”
Revelation 2:1,4-5 (TPT)
This also is a sober warning to your church, your leadership, your pastorate and your ministry team, if you all don’t repent and adjust, this could lead to the end or ruin of your ministry.
The recent drive of social media prayer meetings with thousands and millions of people in participation only shows that the church lacks the commitment of private individual prayer time. Most pastors don’t pray, most leaders don’t have their quiet time. Most church members don’t do any spiritual exercises until the next service time.
No wonder the hype “what God cannot do, does not exist”. No wonder all the church craze online.
Come to a local church on midweek services, check during hours of evangelism, hour of bible study, people hardly engage in this anymore. If your church is caught up in such lukewarm state, I advise you to sit up quickly and turn on the heat of revival, else in this case, your congregation will be the end of your ministry.
Jesus has rightly said, what I have been trying to warn you to avoid, The Sin of the Church: A Call To Repentance
“I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place of influence if you do not repent.”
Revelation 2:5 (TPT)
Church members that lack passion, beware, you are passionate about worldliness, about sin, about entertainment but not about church, relationship with God. Beware.
Many have lost their excitement, no more dancing in the church, almost looks like a pack of zombies dancing during the praise session in the church service.
Beware.
I Pray The Lord Give You Understanding And Enable You TO Turn On The Heat Of Revival In Jesus Name, Amen.
